Food Pantry

The Social Concerns Committee volunteers to maintain the Food Pantry and fight food insecurity in the community. Contributions of food are collected from members of the congregation, Sunday School children, scouts, and other groups or individuals from the community who seek to share the abundance that they have received.

Our Food Pantry regularly collects and distributes the following items:

  • Rice
  • Beans (can or bag)
  • Canned Vegetables*
  • Canned Fruit
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Bottled Juice
  • Paper Towels
  • Toilet Paper
  • Bars of Soap

*Fresh vegetables are also distributed, but not collected due to storage limitations.

Please feel free to stop by between 9 and 11 am on Thursdays to gather what you need. If further or specific assistance is needed, please call the office for more information.

We also have a “Blessing Box” of pantry staples that is open to all stopping by on Jayne Avenue, to pick up extra goods, or share from pantries as needed.

And we make “Mobile Food Pantry” bags regularly available, so you can pick up supplies at the church if you know someone in need who could benefit from a delivery.
